STEP 2: Gather everybody together

  • Participant Account Creation: Each fundraiser participant is required to create a personal account profile. Required information includes:
    • Full name
    • Email address
    • A recent photograph (to be uploaded)
  • Administrator Responsibilities: Manual approval is required for each participant’s profile. Administrators will receive notifications for profile submissions needing approval.
  • Registration and Confirmation Process: Complete the registration form to initiate the setup process. A confirmation/welcome email will be sent upon registration. This email includes detailed instructions for managing participant approvals and other administrative functions.

STEP 3: Promote your campaign

  • Leverage Social Media: Utilize platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to share compelling stories, updates, and donation appeals. Engage with your audience regularly to build momentum and encourage donations.
  • Tap into Email Marketing: Build an email list of supporters and regularly send out updates, success stories, and donation requests. Personalize your messages to connect with donors on a deeper level and increase donation conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Local Media: Reach out to newspapers, radio stations, and online publications to share your fundraising campaign story. Offer interviews, press releases, and guest articles to generate media coverage and raise awareness in the community.
  • Establish Corporate Partnerships: Approach businesses for sponsorship or donation matching opportunities. Highlight the benefits of supporting your cause, such as positive publicity, tax deductions, or alignment with corporate social responsibility goals.
